Exchanges

Hello Everyone!
Aldste Haddon had a busy week! They got to go on exchanges with the APs (assistants to the president) Aldste Haddon was paired with the AP from Brittan and his companion was paired with an elder from Finland. He said it was fun to work with the two other elders for awhile... but he had no idea it would be so hard to learn British slang! He couldn't understand half of what the companion was saying!

They were able to teach a lot of people this week including a woman in her fifties. He said she was very friendly, some may say too friendly. They kept trying to remind her that missionaries can't give hugs and kisses but that didn't seem to bother her one bit! They were shocked and happy to see her at church the following Sunday, but they quickly passed her on to the sister missionaries to avoid any unnecessary contact! Along with her, they had 4 other investigators at church so it was a pretty exciting week for missionary work!

Overall, it was a great week! They did a lot of teaching, a lot of service and most of all a lot of missionary work!

He'd also like to give a shout out to Hadlee (my sister in law) who turned 8 in December and got baptized last Saturday! And also to our cousin Landon who got engaged at the beginning of December! (All of us thought someone else had told him about the engagement until yesterday we realized no one had so he's just hearing the news! oops! I wonder what else we've forgotten to tell him!)
