Elder Tyson Haddon entered the MTC on Wednesday, November 14th. Mom, Dad, Taylor and Hunter took him to Provo, ate breakfast with him at the famous Ihop, and took him to the MTC to begin his great missionary adventure! Lots of tears were shed and hugs were given, but we are so happy that is where he is and what he is choosing to do. This blog will follow the stories that he shares and the amazing experiences he is going to have while he gives 2 years of his life to the Lord.
We have already received our first letter from Elder Haddon and here are the things he has shared:
1. After four days in the MTC, he had already given 2 lessons in Swedish, it was tough and he's having a hard time learning the language. He said that he knows that if he relies on the Lord, he will be able to learn it. He's just use to things coming to him more easily so this has been a challenge.
2. He has been called to Serve as a district leader over other missionaries. He really enjoys his district.
3. His companion is a great guy, and they're both working hard to learn Swedish
4. The food is good and they let him eat a lof of it which makes him happy!
5.He wants and NEEDS letters and love sent his way!
Overall, he is doing well and we're excited for him! Look for weekly updates on his mission and to hear more about how he is doing!
